of Commerce

Winchester, Virginia
Dear Mr. Wilkins:
I plan to be away from Dayton until April 12 with the exception of next Thursday afternoon (March 31) at 4:00 and Friday until 3:00 p.m. If there are matters which you feel I should know about, will you please call me collect at Dayton 3961 or 3071 on either of the days named above?
From the enclosed clipping, you will note that our local Chamber of Commerce has established a counterattack. This will make it even more difficult for me to convince our Board of Trustees of the advisability of the move. However, I am going to insist that the "physical support" mentioned in the resolution be more than just a term. they will have to name their terms before I will give it serious consideration. the extremely divided loyalty of the community makes a united campaign such as Winchester could support an utter impossibility.
I shall be happy to hear of any further developments.
Sincerely yours,
Troy R. Brady, President
