This week we learned about inserting images, giving them attributes, and aligning
the text. This alignment is left
align. The one I use the majority of the time.
To force objects, such as text to the bottom of the image use in code view <br clear="all"> I have been wondering how to do that..
Let's insert a smaller image and try some other alignments.
This alignment is absolute middle.
Ok, got that down, now for right alignment. For this I'm going to resort to placeholder text, as I can't think of anything much to say.

We also learned about preformatted text, which I don't use much because I can't usually get it to work right. It always seems to make the page go to far over to the right. Although it seems to be working now.I have tried the favicon...it doesn't show up on my favorites list, so don't know if it will on any one elses.
Here is the page using the "refresh meta tag"...hope I don't have to use it for real..but you never know.
Named anchors, are used to take you to specific places on web pages, such as the ladybug or to the top of the page, you can also use them on other pages in your site. To do that you have to link to the page, and add #name of anchor in code view.
We also learned about special characters, such as:
£ pound; € euro; © - copyright; ® -Registered trademark
and these are some others: ¶, §, ‰, °, there are many more.
Ok, I think that covers it for this week. See you next week.
