I'm Cheryl Gaver and I have a wide range of interests. Faith and one's spiritual journey are very important to me. I see God's presence wherever I look, and love to learn about religion - others, as well as my own. I also love music (and teach piano), children (and teach communicants' class), history (particularly the medieval period), science fiction, story-telling, computers, travel ..... the list goes on and on. As those I work with are well aware, I love to talk about my interests and have created a number of web pages on the different topics. |

I was born in Montréal (Québec, Canada), but my parents, who moved to Canada before I was born, were American. So are all my relatives. We had our own family business and travelled every year to different conventions. Between visiting relatives and going to conventions, I've seen almost all the States and many of the provinces. I've also had the opportunity to travel to Europe a couple of times and to Israel, (where driving in Jerusalem reminded me of driving in Montréal!) Check out my Travel page for photos of some of my travels. |

A few years ago, I started teaching the communicants' class at a nearby Presbyterian Church. I ended up writing my own material, based on class discussions, other sources, etc. To see a web-based version of it, go to my Christian Home Page. Also check out my Religion page for links to religious sites. |

The past few years, I have been teaching Introduction to World Religions and Computer Foundations (Word /PowerPoint) courses at Sheridan College. |
All in all, there's lots to see, including links to some fun and useful sites. Feel free to drop me an e-mail with your comments. Thanks for visiting.
