Question:
The 1935/36 issue and the 1951-56 issue each have that divider. The 35/36 is white on a bronze-green background, while the 51-56 base plate is white on black. Both have the same bolt hole pattern, and I can discern no differences between them. So, that begs the question: If I have a RUSTY NZ plate (no trace of original colors) with the comma divider at the bottom, what year is it?
Are there any other unique properties with which the two can be identified?
