Mary Ellen Moe
--
    Services are Friday for Mary Ellen Moe, who died Monday in Mountain View. She was 80.
    Mrs. Moe was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised on the Hill family homestead in Montana. She graduated from Big Sandy High School in 1932 and from the Univerity of Montana in Missoula in 1936.
    She was a dedicated teacher in both Montana and Santa Cruz. She was an avid bridge player and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Teachers Federal Credit Union. She was also a member of the Mayflower Society in Montana.
    She is survived by her daughter, Lois Mitchell Woekoek of Cupertino; her sister, Marjory Dunn; two nephews, David and Stephen Dunn; and a lifelong friend, Logan Davis of Townsend, Montana.
    Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Norman's Family Chapel, 3620 Soquel Dr., Soquel. Friends may visit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at Norman's Family Chapel.
    Contributions to the American Cancer Society, Santa Cruz Unit, 209 Walnut Ave., Santa Cruz, 95060, are preferred.
