LAURENCE - In Santa Cruz, Calif., on April 20, 1991, Mr. Uriel Laurence. Survived by two sons, U. Elwayne Laurence of Scotts Valley and Delbert M. Laurence of Fallon, Nev. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Marvin K.
Laurence of San Jose, Marsha L. Roberts of Sacramento, Barbara Blakey of Fallon, Nev., and Ronald F. Haesle of Reno, Nev. He is also survived by his eight great grandchildren. A native of Preston, Idaho, age 91. He was a member and past president of
the Eagles Lodge, Redwood City Chapter, a Santa Cruz resident since 1975.
Mr. Laurence came to California in a covered wagon as a child. He farmed and was later a salesman for Pillsbury. In Stockton, he was a musician and played in dance bands during the '20s. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, & hunting.
Services will be conducted at Santa Cruz Memorial Park Mission Chapel. Santa Cruz Memorial Park Funeral Home in charge of arrangements, Douglas Martine, Services Director with Rev. Matthew Broadbent of the First Congregational
Church of Santa Cruz officiating, on Wednesday, April 24, 1991, at 1:00 p.m.
Interment in Santa Cruz Memorial Park. Contributions to the Santa Cruz Stroke Center, 6500 Soquel Dr., Aptos, 95003, or to your favority charity.

Services will be Wednesday for Beatrice McCabe Ferreira, lifelong resident who died in Santa Cruz Friday of heart failure. She was 93.
Mrs. Ferreira was a descendant of a Santa Cruz County pioneer family. She was a member of Holy Cross Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Day, of Modesto; her son, Leland White of Capitola; her sister, Estelle Kulich of Watsonville; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous neices and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at White's & Wessendorf, 138 Walnut Ave., Santa Cruz. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Services are Tuesday for Florence M. Kazmarek, who did Saturday in Aptos after a brief illness. She was 94.
A native of Wisconsin, Mrs. Kazmarek lived in Santa Cruz County from 1923 to 1973. She moved with her husband to Santa Clara in 1973, where she lived until she became ill. She moved to Aptos to be with her daughter earlier this
year. She was a member of St. Clares Parrish in Santa Clara and a former member of Holy Cross Mothers Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Kenly of Aptos; her sister, Dorothy Cahalan of Santa Clara; two brothers, Clarence Ziel of Monterey and Theodore Ziel of Oregon; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Her husband, former Santa Cruz High School teacher Frank Kazmarek, died in 1980.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Church, 435 Monterey Ave., Capitola. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. today at St. Joseph's Church. Interment will be [at] Santa Clara
Catholic Cemetery in Santa Clara.
Norman's Family Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Contributions to the Hospice Caring Project, 6851 Soquel Dr., Aptos, CA 95003, are preferred.
