    Services will be held Friday for Rupert Delbert Kreinbring, a long-time Santa Cruz resident who died at his home Tuesday. He was 81.
    A native of Fergus Fall, Minn., Mr. Kreinbring graduated from Moorhead Teachers College in 1933 and later received a masters degree from what was then San Jose State College. He taught woodshop at Santa Cruz High School from
1947 to 1963 and then taught drafting at Soquel High School from 1963 to 1972.
    He built two homes for his family in Santa Cruz. His wife, Clara Florence Kreinbring, died in September and his two sons, Delbert and Maedle, died in a car accident in [Jan] 1962.
    Mr. Kreinbring was a member of the California Teachers Association, Phi Delta Kappa, and First Presbyterian Church of Santa Cruz.
    He is survived by his daughters, Margaret Kreinbring of Benicia, Meralee Gunderson and her husband Herbert of Santa Cruz, and Holly Willet of Santa Cruz; his five grandchildren, Isla Willet and Herbert, Loren, Erik, and Olive
Gunderson, all of Santa Cruz.
    Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at White's Chapel, 138 Walnut Ave., with Rev. Ed Breeden of the First Presbyterian Church presiding. Visitation for family and friends will be at the chapel on Friday from 9 to 11 a.m.
    Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Park.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Mike Kreinbring memorial scholarship, University of Pacific School of Dentistry, 2155 Webster St., San Francisco, Calif 94115.
