obit shows date of 20 Aug 1904. Even using the younger age, she
was born prior to her parents Feb 1904 marriage, so it is unlikely
that the obit was falsified to save face. I have been unable to
find a birth record for either age, and it is unlikely that this
mystery of her age will ever be solved.

Obituary
from unknown paper and unknown date says: Doris, infant daughter
of Mr & Mrs Lon Rinehart died Saturday morning after a short
illness. The funeral was held in the Friends Church Sunday morning.
Rev C.M.Brattain in charge. Interment to Brookside Cemetery. Doris
Marie Rinehart was born Dec 16, 1903 and died Aug 20, 1904 aged
8 months and 3 days.

dogs that were part of the family. Buffy was a mixed breed with
tan fur and was born 8 May 1948 in Claremont, Los Angeles, CA. He
died 10 May 1960 in Olympia, Thurston, WA. Cricket was a Chinese
Pug with fawn fur and black face. He was born 18 Apr 1960 in Olympia,
Thurston, WA and died 3 May 1974 also in Olympia. These dogs were
loved as much as any children since Dorothy couldn't have any children
due to her diabetes, and they are put into this narrative for that
reason.
