Here in the Biologic Reseach Laboratories, Dr. Eswad Smithe is hard at work at one of his many animal experiments. Biologic Research Laboratories (BRL) is located in a bunker-like structure both to protect the facilities from more militant protesters and to protect the outside city in the event that the animals escape.

Timmy hardly knew what he was getting into when he first started working at BRL. It was a simple after school job - clean some cages, feed some animals... "It'll be good for you" his father said, "it will teach you responsibility." In the end, it only taught Timmy that he wanted to become a vegitatian.

In todays' experiment, Dr. Smithe was studying the effect of some chemicals that he had administered earlier. "Who needs anestetic, they're just animals," he would say as he gleefully began his surgery.
