 I believe that John R. Bridges is the son of Lafayette & Sarah Bridges & the grandson of Sarah M. Edwards & Mary Ann Bridges. I believe that P. W. Edwards is Peter W. Edwards, the grandson of Sarah M. Edwards. Buried beside each other at Gamble Cemetery, Centerton, Benton Co., Arkansas are 4 related individuals: Sarah M. Edwards (1818-1897), P. W. Bridges (1878-1892 ), M. A. Bridges (1818-1893), & John R. Bridges (1891-1893). Sarah Rosabelle Edward's mother is Sarah M. Edwards. I do not know Sarah M.'s maiden name. On the 1880 Dickson, Benton Co., Arkansas Federal Census Lafayette & Sarah R. Bridges are living with their baby, Nina, at Sarah M. Edwards home. Sarah & Lafayette also had a baby, John R. Bridges, whose headstone reads 1891-1893, Babe of D L & S R Bridges. Mary Ann the sp/o James Bridges would be the paternal grandmother of John R. Bridges. She is buried in the same area. C Marcell |
