It is said the first grave in Mount Olive's cemetery was the daughter of Jacob Zimmerman in 1866, followed by Mrs. John Zimmerman's sister and then John Berry's father, Alexander Berry who died in 1865 was removed to this cemetery sometime after 1866. The cemetery is still active and well maintained with over 3100 names on headstones estimated by Cindy Marcell in 2007.
