 The cemetery had very few stones. Perhaps I could not see some if they were flat or toppled in the under growth? Perhaps they have been relocated? This cemetery is way up high overlooking the creek & has a wonderful view of the valley below. It would be impossible to physically flood the cemetery, however it is possible one day far in the future the cliff could erode and the cemetery would fall off the cliff below to the valley. The Geo Sutton family headstone is near an area that is unsafe to walk out on because of this erosion. C Marcell, 2007 |
