This first Seamster family to move to the Benton county area came in 1866 and settled in Barry county, MO. just north of the state line. Williamson Shaw (1810-1884) and Susan Right Rigsby Seamster (1813-1874) had migrated south from Schuyler county, Missouri. ...Williamson donated the land for, and was the first pastor of the Rock Springs Baptist Church. ...Williamson Seamster and his wife Susan were farmers and had also raised a large family, several of which settled in Benton county and surrounding areas. They were the parents of: James Louis 1832, Eliza Ann 1835, Tabitha 1837, Mary J. 1841, Stephan Sallee 1842, Martin Luther 1844, Sarah 1845, Francis Marion 1847, Amanda Adeline 1849, Robert Lee 1851, Rhoda Ellen 1853, Bethuel 1866, Isaiah 1858, and Julie Ann 1859. After his wife's death in 1874, Williamson married Mary Pendergraft and had 3 more children, Nancy Elizabeth, William B., and a girl who died in infancy. |

CM Infant was the daughter of Williamson Seamster & Mary Ann Pendergraft Seamster. Mary Ann Pendergraft Seamster remarried after Williamson's death to Rev. Charles Seely. Mary Ann & Charles are buried at Gamble Cemetery, Benton Co., Arkasas |
