Who Is SHE?

Photo submitted by Hershel Taylor

The young gentleman here is Whitfield Taylor whose wife was Laura Boothe. They made their home near Dalton, and both are buried in the King cemetery. The mystery question is...who is this young lady pictured with Whitfield? On the back of the photo it reads Whitfield Taylor & Miss Ella Taylor. Could this be Bessie E Taylor, Whitfield's youngest sister? Would really like to get the mystery solved! Any ideas? Please contact Hershel Taylor

Who Are We?

Photo submitted by Thurman Anderson

This picture was taken in 1919 either near Birdell or Ravenden Springs, Arkansas. Only 5 of the pictured have been identified, thus far. Any help on the remaining would be most appreciated.
Front row: Boy with raised hand is Truman E Anderson.
Next row, all women: Lilly Anderson is pictured on the far left and Grandma Geneva "Jenny" (Riddle) White is on the far right. The lady next to Grandma White is the same "Mystery Lady" who appears in another picture on this page. It is possible that she could be a Hughes.
Back row: First 2 persons are unknown. Third person believed to be John White. Fourth person is Luther Crays and last is Luther's wife, Ella E (White) Crays.
If anyone can identify the remaining of this group please contact Thurman Anderson

Who Are We?

Photo submitted by Jimmie Harris

This picture is indeed a "True Mystery" to me. Hand written on the back of the picture are the words "3 Good Looking Girls". The handwriting is not that of my Grandmother for whom the picture belonged.. It could be my Grandfather's, but he was married in 1909 and these "Good Looking Girls" appear to be wearing clothes from the 1920's. I do believe these girls to be Randolph Countians and I am hopeful someone will recognize and can help solve my mystery. If anyone should a clue please contact Jimmie Harris

They made their home in the Martins Creek community. If anyone has further information please contact Emailee A Taylor

Who are these people?

In a box of pictures left to Jimmie by his family he found this one photo of considerable interest as on it is written the Jasper Carroll Family, which is a name unfamiliar (to his knowledge) in the Harris family. Jimmie would like to know more about who this family is and if they are somehow connected to his Harris family. If anyone has additional information please contact Jimmie Harris

This picture was taken during the 1920's. The couple in the middle are Marcus D Anderson, son of John and Ellen (Thornton) Anderson, who resided in the Birdell Community for many years, and his 2nd wife Ellen (Clayton) Anderson, the daughter of Harland (Harley) Clayton and Rhoda Ann (Bartley), from the Elm Store area. I can not identify the man on the left or the lady on the right. She appears in other photos with members of the Anderson, White and Riddle families.
