WINSTON-SALEM - Mrs. Ruth Key Buelin, 88, widow of Floyd Raymond Buelin, died Saturday evening, May 2, 2009 at the Brian Center in Lexington. Mrs. Buelin was born in Ararat, NC on March 13, 1921, daughter of William Anderson and Savannah Bryant Key. She worked at the Pentagon during World War II and worked as a seamstress for many years. She was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church and attended Hopewell Moravian Church. Mrs. Buelin was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Raymond Buelin in 2004. Surviving are two daughters: Judy B. Prescott and Barbara S. Quigley, both of Winston-Salem; two granddaughters: Brittany N. Clark and Kristin R. Clark; and two great-grandchildren: Aubriella Browne and Joshua Browne. Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, at Rock Hill Baptist Church by the Rev. Jack Nance. The family will receive friends at Salem Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
