It appears that they also followed Viola's siblings migration routes Westward except that it appears they stopped in Nebraska and raised their children there and then going on to Colorado after 1895.

Denney, William Henry (b. 15 JAN 1862, d. 26 MAY 1933)

Note: Per a Bonnie Arbuthnot, Alva and his brother Wiliam Henry migrated from Appanoose County, Iowa to SE Colorado in the late 1870's or early 1880's to homestead. Based upon their children's birthplaces, this migration appeared to take place about 1887. They married Bray sisters who were also from Appanoose County, Iowa.

William was listed as a farmer in the 1900 census, he owned his own property.

He was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Springfield, Baca County, IA when it was organized in 1909.
