Memphen is the semi-official clubzine of the Mid-South Science Fiction & Fantasy Association.
In other words, the MSSFFA has a newsletter called Memphen. (We can get into how this is actually a pun, and how the editor who has had the most to do with publishing Memphen for 30+ years loves puns, another time, ok? Thank you! ).
This site is intended to (eventually) serve as an archive of the text of as many of those back issues as we can post.

Right now, we are turning over top billing to an upcoming LITERARY EVENT that is being co-sponsored by the Mid-South SF&F Association (and the Memphis Writers Forge): THE SELINA ROSEN EVENT. Please click HERE

UPCOMING MEETING
DATES OF THE MID-SOUTH SF&F ASSOCIATION:
We are back to meeting
on the Second Monday of each month at the Central Library (3030 Poplar
Avenue), usually in Meeting Room A -- but see the schedule here
for the 2004 specifics.
The Mid-South SF&F
Association (MSSFFA)was formed earlier this year by members of the Memphis
Science Fiction Association (MSFA), as a way to expand the tradition and
mission of MSFA. (MSFA has now disbanded.) The MSFA Official Web
Page is at: http://www.pseudoworld.net/msfa.
We (MSSFFA)have taken on the newsletter and Darrell Awards and other
projects of MSFA
Darrell Award Web site http://darrellawards.org.
(The Darrell Awards are given annually by the Mid-South SF&F
Association for the best published Science Fiction, Fantasy or Horror which
is either by a greater-Memphis-area author or that uses this area
in a prominent way.
We have categories for novels, short stories and Other. See the
Darrell Awards site for more info.)
